The Green Gate Garden was established in 2003 at E.R. Taylor Elementary School at 423 Burrows Street and is staffed by Sybil Tate and Joolie Geldner. The garden serves as an outdoor classroom for nearly 100 students every week. The 2004-2005 curriculum is focused around the "Our Families' Foods" project that will teach students about the food they eat and the food their ancestors ate.
